About The Author

Cultural Ambassador & Educator

Zoe Sarabo is more than an author – she’s a bridge between cultures, an educator who understands the profound impact of cultural identity on community building. Born in Georgetown, Guyana, and educated at Arizona State University, Zoe’s journey spans continents and cultures, giving her a unique perspective on the African diaspora experience.

Academic Foundation

With a bachelor’s degree in History and African and African American Studies, and a master’s in Liberal Studies focusing on Borders, Migration, and Culture, Zoe brings both academic rigor and lived experience to her work. Her time at Arizona State University’s African and African American Studies Department sparked what would become her life’s mission. Through her travels to the African continent, Zoe has established meaningful connections with Pan-Africanist entrepreneurs and cultural enthusiasts, deepening her understanding of the richness and diversity of Black African cultures and further grounding her commitment to global Black solidarity.

Vision for Change

Zoe recognizes that the disintegration of African communities and family structures stems from the dominance of Western cultural values. Through her work as an educator, author, and speaker, she creates opportunities for cultural reconnection and community rebuilding.
